PARIS VENUES:

The ‘Riviera chic’ style of the Columbus Monaco Hotel was conceptualised by Ken McCulloch’s wife and international award-winning interior designer, Amanda Rosa, who has combined noble materials such as leather, marble, wood and stones and neutral tones to create a chic and comfortable atmosphere. A unique and truly splendid location for that special meeting. The jewel of Columbus Monaco is Le Studio, a luxurious auditorium equipped with 90 leather seats and state of the art audio visual technology. Columbus Monaco provides multi-purpose presentation and conference facilities, unique in the region. Ideal for those who value the combination of stylish and relaxed surroundings, Columbus Monaco was designed by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, for people to enjoy, slow down and feel good about themselves. Inaugurated in April 2001 by visionary Scottish hotelier Ken McCulloch and his Formula One business partner David Coulthard, Columbus Monaco has since its opening introduced a concept which seemed controversial in Monaco until then – simplicity. The 181 bedrooms, including 28 suites and junior suites, have been decorated to reflect the same elegant style and offer breathtaking views on the Mediterranean sea and the Rocher on one side and the Princess Grace Rose Garden and the mountains on the other. Located in Fontvieille near the harbour, Monaco’s up and coming area, Columbus Monaco is conveniently located opposite the heliport (Nice International Airport is only 6 minutes away by helicopter) and only a few minutes away from the Place du Casino. The first floor lounge and reception area leads to the restaurant, Columbus Brasserie, and its outside terrace, which offers Mediterranean cuisine and superb local wines in surroundings reminiscent of a City wine bar. Located on the other side of the lobby, the Cocktail Bar offers an extensive selection of cocktails and drinks in a foxy and sexy ambiance. Both the restaurant and the bar have become two of the coolest eating and drinking spots on the Côte d’Azur.
